LAURA

Laura a gem of a jewel she is a sparkle in my eye. As a young girl that grew up in a life of being bullied and had few friends because of how I lookedI use to stand back from the other girls and watch them all giggle with each other, wishing that I could be part of these smart popular girls. I was unnoticed to most of my classmates, except to Laura. She would talk to me, invite me to her place after school. She also helped with my school work. When I had my daughter I knew that I had to honour Laura. Some 40 years later I reconnected with Laura, she remembered me I was amazed. When I got sick in Oct /14 and lost my job, Laura offered to help me out financially, after 40 years she was still that sweet girl that came to me when I was hurting. A "Life GratitudeTeacher "
